JCHC Speaks on Testing, Vaccine and Vaccinations – Sheridan Media

The Johnson County Healthcare Center updated the media on their status concerning the COVID-19 virus during the EOC Briefing Tuesday. JCHC CEO Sean McCallister said the hospital has nine inpatients, none of which are COVID-positive, and they have no staff members currently out with the virus or because of quarantine. They have begun administering second doses of the vaccine for staff, and next week they will be giving second doses in the nursing home and assisting Public Health to give second doses to other long-term care facilities. McCallister said that there currently is no mandate for staff to get the COVID vaccine and explained why.
