Top 10 Women Who Poisoned Their Husbands
Women, if you have a husband who upset you, what do you do? Maybe give him the cold shoulder, make him sleep on the couch, deny his love for a week or two or kill him? Like something out of the “Cell Block Tango,” there are stories of women whose final nerves snapped and well, say goodbye to Dear Old Hubby. But instead of using knives, guns, a hitman, or pushing him down a flight of stairs, these Femme Fatales literally picked their poison.
Though not all famous stories of women poisoning their husbands wind up in death, in the end, I think the husband got the point. Either he really did “have it coming’” or there was a more sadistic and twisted plan at play. Here are the top 10 women who poisoned their husbands.
Versace / Carlo Scarpato
You don t come to Versace to wear brown. At least, that s what its history of bold colors, J.Lo jungle prints, and 90s black-and-gold power dressing have taught us. The brand is flipping the script for the fall 2021 season, introducing us to a new conversation within the Versace-verse: monogramming. Debuting a new monogram this season, dubbed La Greca, the new collection is aligning itself with heritage brands like Goyard, Louis Vuitton, and others who well surpass Versace s relatively short existence. (It was founded in 1978, whereas many archival brands were founded on the basis of monogrammed luggage in the 19th century).
Season 13 has some big shoes to fill when it comes to the Rusical. Season 12’s “Madonna: The Unauthorized Rusical” paid tribute to a legend and did so in style and if that weren’t enough, the top four queens crushed their final challenge, performing numbers from
RuPaul’s Drag Race Live. The season 13 queens are very talented, delivering strong performances in the improv challenge, but they’ll need more than charisma for their Rusical to stand out among the show’s recent offerings. They’ll need solid material to work with. Ultimately, “Social Media: The Unverified Rusical” is more “PharmaRusical” than “Bitch Perfect,” but what the episode lacks in dynamic Rusical performances it makes up for with satisfying narrative pay-offs, fun moments, and cast shake-ups.
