PRAYAGRAJ: Moti Lal Nehru Medical College launched an online OPD services via E-Sanjeevani, a nationwide online OPD services platform and first of its kind being offered by a country government to its citizens, on Saturday.
This national tele-consultation service offered by the ministry of health and family welfare enables patients to consult with specialist doctors from the safe confines of their homes.
The service is particularly helpful in the present scenario as we are experiencing the second wave of the largest pandemic of the century.
The service delivery through this platform will help reduce the exposure to doctors as well as patients and ultimately may reduce the transmission of Covid-19. Those residing in remote and rural areas will also be benefited from the service.
