The
wards that were most affected in the first wave of
covid-19 are at the bottom of the list with the lowest number of cases this time. The
second wave appears to have found new pastures, infecting residents living in the apartment complexes. It’s also learnt that wards with most cases have been testing at least three times more than the wards with minimum cases.
The top ten wards with the
highest number of positive cases in the last 10 days are Shantala Nagar, Bellandur, Horamavu, RR Nagar, HSR Layout, Arakere, Kempegowda Ward, Varthur and
New Thippasandra. These wards are reporting more than 100 covid-19 positive cases every day.

Bengaluru: The violence in Bengaluru on August 12 last year in which Dalit Congress MLA R Akhanda Srinivasa Murthy’s house and two police stations were torched was a larger conspiracy by the Social Democratic Party of India to create communal disharmony in the country,the NIA said in its charge sheet filed recently in a special court here.
