The Homel regional council of deputies made a decision to introduce a local tax when leaving the country. Drivers will pay one base amount for each trip abroad. The corresponding decision was published on the National Legal Internet Portal.
The fee will be valid until January 1, 2023.
The decision was made on March 29. It is indicated that it comes into force on the 1st day of the month following the month of its official publication - that is, from June 1, and agreed with the State Border Committee and the State Customs Committee.
Let us remind you that earlier such a decision was made in the Hrodna region. It was supposed to come into force on May 1 but was approved only by the State Border and Customs Committees. Belarus introduced tariffs on three additional routes of oil transportation, as follows from Decree No. 30 of the Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade (MART) of May 3, published on Tuesday on the National Legal Internet Portal.
According to the document, the tariff for oil transportation through Nevel (the border of Russia and Belarus) - Polotsk (Belarus) is set at 45.39 rubles per ton net, while through Unecha (the border of Russia and Belarus) - Polotsk - 175.60 rubles per ton net, through Polotsk - Novopolotsk (Belarus) - 0.46 rubles per ton net. The decree comes into force after its official publication.
Belarus reduces export oil duties
MINSK, 3 May (BelTA) – On 1 May, Belarus reduced export duties on oil and oil products, which are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in line with the Council of Ministers resolution No.251 of 27 April 2021, BelTA learned from the National Legal Internet Portal.
In line with the resolution, the size of the export duty on crude oil, furnace oil, oil bitumen, petrolatum, paraffin, and waste oils made up $54.9 per tonne ($57.6 previously). The export duty on straight-run gasoline has been set at $30.1 per tonne ($31.6 previously). The size of the export duty on commercial gasoline, diesel fuel, light and middle distillates, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants is $16.4 per tonne ($17.2 previously).
