North Alabama capital murder suspect tracked through surveillance cameras

One capital murder suspect was in jail and another remained at large Saturday after Decatur police used surveillance cameras and an anonymous tip in their effort to solve a crime.
Mashaud Tyliek Lewis, 21, is in the Morgan County Jail without bond, charged in last Sunday’s shooting death of 59-year-old Chester Jordan of Decatur. A capital murder arrest warrant was outstanding for Antone Lamar Yarbrough, 27. Both defendants are from Decatur.
Police requested help from the public Friday in locating Yarbrough, but warned that he is considered armed and dangerous and should not be approached.

Forty-year-old Seth Adam Bond from Somerville is facing a slew of charges.
The victim also believes Seth Bond mistook him for a woman because of his long hair and was very surprised to see a man step out of the car.

DECATUR, Ala. (WAFF) - On May 9, a Decatur man was shot and killed. By May 14, one man accused of his murder is behind bars while police try to track down another suspect considered armed and dangerous.
Mashaud Tyliek Lewis, 21, of Decatur, is in custody and charged with capital murder. Police also have an outstanding warrant for 27-year-old Antone Lamar Yarbrough who is also a suspect in this case.

Just before midnight on Tuesday, May 11, deputies stopped Seth Adam Bond when he was driving on Highway 31.
Bond was getting out of the car when he pulled out two handguns and threw them into a nearby creek. Deputies detained Bond and searched his car where they found 1.2 grams of meth inside.
Decatur Police Department investigating homicide

Decatur Police are investigating a homicide from over the weekend.
Police responded to the 1200 block of 2nd Avenue SW for what they believed was an unresponsive man. The call came in around 10:50 p.m. Sunday.
When they got to the scene, police found a man in the parking lot suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Chester Jordan was transported to Decatur Morgan Hospital where he later died. The coroner said the body will be taken to forensics for an autopsy.
