DECATUR COUNTY, Ga. (WTXL) â The sound of ribbon being assembled into bows. We love the Bedwell s and we support first responders and their families, said Kathryn Mejia Collins.

Making bows to adorn doors and mailboxes in the community to honor Captain Justin Bedwell and his family. We came up with bows and the support from the community is just overwhelming. We had no idea we were going to have so many people calling ordering bows, Collins said.

BAINBRIDGE, Ga. (WALB) - A Decatur County Sheriffâs Office captain is opening up about losing his colleague and friend Capt. Justin Bedwell. Captain Brad Lambert (Source: WALB)
âBig loss, very big loss,â said Capt. Lambert.
Lambert gave WALB a tour of Capt. Bedwellâs office even after he put a note on the late captainâs office door, telling others not to enter.
âI didnât want anybody going in there for any reason and I just wrote a note on it said nobody enter that office,â explained Capt. Lambert.
