Pa. woman, 38, charged with fatally stabbing live-in boyfriend

Investigators in Berks County charged a 38-year-old woman with homicide Tuesday, a day after her live-in boyfriend was fatally stabbed in the chest.
County Chief Detective Michael Gombar said Jillian R. Blimline of Sinking Spring faces counts of first- and third-degree murder and aggravated assault in the death of 39-year-old Chad Macwilliam.

Macwilliam was killed in the Maywood Avenue home he shared with Blimline and their 4-year-old daughter, Gombar said. He said South Heidelberg Township police arrived at the scene at 9:12 p.m. Monday after a distraught woman called 911.

Authorities expect an autopsy that was planned for Monday afternoon will help them wrap up an investigation in the killing of a man in a South Heidelberg Township home Sunday night.
No one has been arrested, but investigators have a fairly clear picture of what happened and they re waiting for a forensic pathologist to confirm it so they can proceed accordingly, Berks County District Attorney John T. Adams and South Heidelberg police Chief Leon Grim said about noon Monday. Once we determine more specifically the cause of death, which we hope to do as a result of the autopsy this evening, that will basically answer a few questions and we ll take whatever steps are necessary, Adams said.
