Indictment: Kimper man possessed, distributed child porn

A Pike County man was recently indicted on more than 30 charges accusing him of distributing and possessing child pornography. According to the indictment, Christopher D. Utley, 46, of Long Fork Road, Kimper, was found by Kentucky State Police to be in possession of 20 images portraying a sexual performance by a minor less than 12 years of age. In addition, according to the indictment, in 10 instances, Utley distributed matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor less than 12 years old. The indictment also charges that Utley tampered with physical evidence by damaging, destroying, concealing, removing or otherwise dealing with a computer and mobile phone.

Man interviewed following Epping 6 year old struck by vehicle

Michaela Meade Police have interviewed a man in relation to an incident where a 6-year-old was struck by a car on Tuesday, March 9. The boy had exited a vehicle that was parked along Brush Road about 8.30pm. Greensborough Highway Patrol members believe the boy walked to the front of the vehicle and onto the road when a car drove past and allegedly struck him. The 6-year-old, from Epping, was transported to hospital with minor injuries and has since been released. The driver of the offending vehicle stopped and provided details but left the scene before police arrived. Inquiries found the details given were incorrect.

Driver of 4WD who allegedly hit a six-year-old boy and fled is finally caught

The driver of a 4WD who allegedly moved down a little boy in a hit-and-run has finally been caught by police three days later.  The 25-year-old man handed himself in to police on Saturday night after the Nissan Patrol he was driving was found early in the day. The man was interviewed before being released and is expected to be charged with traffic offences.  A 25-year-old man who struck a 6-year-old child with this Nissan Patrol handed himself into police on Saturday night He allegedly ran into the six-year-old boy in north Melbourne on Tuesday night about 8.30pm while the boy got out of a vehicle on Brush Road in Epping.
