Tulip Time announces details for virtual run

HOLLAND, Mich. â Tulip Time announced additional details Wednesday for this yearâs virtual run.
Participants will be able to choose between a 5k or 10k as their schedules allow and on any course, according to a news release.
They can run through Hollandâs tulip-lined streets, Window on the Waterfront 5k, Centennial Park 5k or Centennial Park five-mile course.
Runners can also create their own course.
Run shirts and hoodies, designed and printed by SilkScreen Marketing, are also available for purchase.
Participants will receive their run packets by mail.

Few places can match the beauty of Holland in the spring when millions of tulips bloom with amazing colors in local parks, fill attractions and line the streets. Holland will be beautiful, and Tulip Time celebration will continue – however, with a twist.
The health and safety of visitors, volunteers, and the community are of utmost importance to the Tulip Time organization.
Following the CDC directives and guidelines issued by the State of Michigan, which currently stipulate no more than 25 people can gather outdoors at an event, must forego some of Tulip Time s most enduring festival events this year – parades, Dutch Dance performances, and the carnival.
Since 1929, the city of Holland, Michigan has blossomed with hundreds of thousands of tulips and welcomed guests from everywhere for the annual festival.
Tulip Time Update
Tulip Time will return after being cancelled last year. Due to directives from the CDC some changed are being put in place.
Some Tulip Time events have been canceled, however, according to the press release to Fox 17, these events are still happening:
The Tulip Time run, which will take place virtually
Dockside tours of the “Friends Good Will” ship
The annual quilt raffle, which will take place April 15 to May 9
Yoga in the Tulips
The Artisan Market, which will be held virtually
Downtown walking tours and a scavenger hunt will take place. Potted tulips will be available for purchase soon.
