HOLLAND, MI (WHTC-AM/FM) – Nearly a year after the COVID 19 outbreak led the first cancellation of a Tulip Time Festival, organizers are continuing plans for a belated 91
st renewal of Holland’s annual signature event.
While the festival announced on Tuesday more activities slated for the period of May 1
st through the 8
th, the biggest disclosure is that those activities are still on for then. The ongoing health situation, with current limitations on public gatherings placed by the state Department of Health and Human Services, led some to believe that a second straight postponement could be a possibility.
Since 1929, the city of Holland, Michigan has blossomed with hundreds of thousands of tulips and welcomed guests from everywhere for the annual festival.

Tulip Time Artisan Market going virtual, deadline Sunday
HOLLAND A popular Tulip Time event is going virtual in 2021.
The Artisan Market is one of several events that have been announced for the upcoming festival, which will take place Saturday-Sunday, May 1-9. In the past, the event has hosted 200 vendors and thousands of visitors at Centennial Park in downtown Holland.
However, the nonprofit organization responsible for planning the festival, also called Tulip Time, announced this month the market will continue in a virtual setting. An event of this magnitude, with a high level of interaction between artists and shoppers, presents many unique challenges, the organization wrote in a statement. Safety for all participants is our top priority.
