Alex Williamson has broken a brief silence to address the fallout of his vile and derogatory rant aimed at an ex-partner, which has resulted in him being dropped by management and pulled from major comedy festivals.
Last week, Williamson was accused of “abusive, manipulative, and predatory” behaviour by ex-partner, singer and social media personality
Both the Sydney and Perth Comedy Festivals have withdrawn upcoming shows from
Alex Williamson from their respective programs, as the fallout from Williamson’s vile social media response to abuse allegations continues.
In a pair of short statements posted a earlier this afternoon, representatives for both the Sydney Comedy Festival and the Perth Comedy Festival confirmed that Williamson’s upcoming shows will be pulled from their schedules.
The 32-year-old, known to his audience as Shooter Williamson, was scheduled to perform as part of the Sydney Comedy Festival on May 14th and 15th.

Meanwhile the Perth Comedy Festival pulled Williamson’s performance which was scheduled to take place tomorrow, May 1st.
A series of tweets posted in 2012 have reemerged (Williamson would have been 23) where he wrote, “Hey girls. Don’t try and tell me you’re too tired for sex, coz ill [sic] quite happily do you while you’re napping”.
Another read: “Geez I really don’t want to be one of those fathers that f ks their daughter constantly but I just know I will be lol.”
At the end of last year, a video posted to social media by Brown Cardigan depicted Williamson at a comedy event swearing at an audience member who is assumed to have recently lost their parents.
An Australian comedian known for his dark humour has asked girls to message him if they want to be eaten and referenced disgraced actor Armie Hammer while defending himself against allegations of abuse.
Alex ‘Shooter’ Williamson, 32, uploaded several videos to Instagram on Wednesday, claiming singer/songwriter Peach PRC levelled serious allegations of emotional abuse and manipulation against him out of spite.
Over the course of about 24 hours, Williamson went on several expletive-laden rants accusing two of his exes of lying because they re obsessed with him .
He has since told Daily Mail Australia he regrets how he handled the allegations - which he strenuously denies.
