Child found safe in vehicle that had stopped in I-95 s northbound lanes
According to a report released late Tuesday, motorists notified the Florida Highway Patrol of a Nissan Altima sedan stopped in I-95 s northbound lanes north of Linton Boulevard at about 8 a.m. that morning.
The report said FHP troopers found a 6-year-old child unharmed in the car s back seat. Police did not disclose the child s identity or describe the child s relationship to either Hanley or the female passenger.
They also found two guns and spent shell casings in the vehicle.
FHP called in Delray Beach police, who took command of the investigation.
