Show Transcript KEEP GOING UP AS VACCINE SHIPMENTS INCREASE ONE PERSON WAS TAKEN TO THE HOSPITAL TODAY AFTER A FIRE IN RYE. IT BROKE OUT IN A HOME ON HOLLAND DRIVE AT ABOUT ONE THIS AFTERNOON. ABOUT 1:00 THIS AFTERNOON. THE PERSON WHO WAS HURT IS BELIEVED TO HAVE NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURIES. ANOTHER PERSON IN THE HOME GOT OUT SAFELY. FIRE CREWS SAY THEY COULD HEAR SMALL EXPLOSIONS AS THEY ARRIVED AT THE SCENE TODAY. MUTUAL AID WAS CALLED IN TO FIGHT THE FLAMES FROM A LIST OF SEACOAST COMMUNITIES. Wild goose chase: Monroe Twp. Fire Department rescues decoy from River Raisin

(WXYZ) â One rescue mission turned into a wild goose chase for the Monroe Township Fire Department Tuesday afternoon.
After a concerned family called about a goose or duck possibly injured on the River Raisin near Waterloo Park, the Monroe Twp. Fire Department sprung into action, suiting up and heading out onto the ice.

As crews got close to the reported bird in distress, they realized it wasn t a real duck or goose at all, just a decoy.
