TCEB takes the initiative in holding Thailand MICE Virtual Expo, the countryâs first virtual edition of such event, during 24 and 25 February. The aim is to create a platform for Thai MICE entrepreneurs to harness opportunities to connect with potential global buyers, while business webinars and live streaming workshops are organised to showcase Thailand branding. Around 3,000 participants from around the world are expected. TCEB launches âFestival Economyâ policy to drive the development of festivals with lasting economic, social and environmental benefits
Thailand Convention & Exhibition Bureau (TCEB) has launched a ‘Festival Economy’ policy to nurture partnerships between professional festival associations and local city governments to co-create new festivals with lasting economic, social and environmental impacts.
At the launch on 1 December 2020 in Bangkok, TCEB put this policy into action by signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Phetchaburi province, Ratchaprasong Square Trade Association (RSTA) and Thai International Events & Festivals Trade Association (TIEFA) to jointly work on projects under ‘Festival Economy’ policy.
