Prahlad Singh Patel inaugurated the All-Women’s Art Exhibition titled ‘Akshya Patra’ today at Rabindra Bhavan Galleries of Lalit Kala Akademi, India’s National Academy of Art, an autonomous organization of the Ministry of Culture. New Delhi: Union Minister of Education Shri Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ addressed the Webinar on Women in Leadership: Achieving an equal future in a Covid-19 world, organized today on the occasion of International Women’s Day. The Webinar was conducted by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in association with Ministry of Education. Shri Sanjay Dhotre, MoS, Education, Secretary Higher Education Shri Amit Khare, Secretary School Education and Literacy Smt. Anita Karwal, Prof. D P Singh, Chairman, UGC, Prof. Rajnish Jain, Secretary, UGC, senior officials of the Ministry were also present. 43 women Vice-Chancellors and 25 Principals of Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) also joined the webinar online.

On March 5, the Union Education Minster Ramesh Pokhriyal inaugurated the 2021 Delhi World Book Fair virtually.
Addressing on the occasion, the Minister appreciated that ‘National Education Policy-2020’ is the theme of New Delhi World Book Fair 2021. Speaking on NEP, the Minister said, it has emerged as the world’s biggest reform, which will develop India not only as, the Knowledge hub but will also help in making learners ideal and global citizens. Recalling Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s quote, ‘the one who reads, leads the nation’, the Minister said that the one who has the capability to read, write and think, can lead in any field.
