Another Amazon warehouse in Peel Region in Ontario has been partially closed to a COVID-19 outbreak.
The Amazon fulfillment centre located at 7995 Winston Churchill Boulevard in Brampton has been ordered to partially close. A partial closure can apply to a mass dismissal of a shift or work area, according to Peelâs website.
Peel Region is allowed to order businesses with five or more reported cases of COVID-19 to close either fully or partially. The new rules came into effect on April 23rd and have led to sixteen workplaces being ordered to close.

Golf industry frustrated with

Mayfield Golf Club issued a statement in a widespread email they will be expecting to return to the course on May 20.
The club had received numerous inquires via phone calls, text and emails from golfers wondering when golf will return.
“Our course, will remain closed until Thursday, May 20, 2021, as per the provincial government’s direction,” they said. “The golf Industry is lobbying hard to reverse the Provincial Governments’ decision to close all golf courses.”
Even in a time where social distancing measures continue to be in place and a sport like golf seemingly fits the description, the provincial government has chosen to close all courses as part of their new stay-at-home order.

This was stated in new guidelines issued by Peel, which are already being condemned by watchdog groups as cruel and unusual punishment against innocent little ones, not to mention the fact that it is a completely unscientific suggestion.

Toronto Public Health now appears to be offering more moderate guidelines on how to care for a child who has been dismissed from school or care for having come into contact with someone with COVID-19, guidelines that no longer include ideally keeping the child isolated from all other family members.
The more nuanced recommendations were shared with the
Sun following questions about a TPH document that was being sent home with parents which says “your child must immediately self-isolate, which means staying in your home and away from others.”
