Investigation Leads To A Major Drug Bust In Bennington The Bennington Police are on it! On Monday, April 12, 2021, at approximately 8:49 PM, members of the Bennington Police Department were dispatched to the area of 222 Union Street Bennington, Vermont. This was for a report of suspicious activity. Officers arrived and after speaking with the complainant, they went to 222 Union Street, Apt 1. There, Officers observed persons inside the residence involved in drug activity. Five persons were located in the residence and were ordered out of the residence. The residence was secured while investigators applied for a search warrant. A search warrant for 222 Union Street; Apt 1 was granted and members of the Bennington Police Patrol Division and Bureau of Criminal Investigations executed the warrant at 11:02 pm.
