Nick Cole-Mann has taken his built, twin-turbo LS Chevy S-10 to the drag strip. He built it over a year and has managed his best results so far on the quarter-mile run. After extensive tuning, the dark-black S-10's V8 engine makes 1,750 horsepower on the dyno.

The Torino first appeared for the 1968 production year as a sub-series of the Fairlane model, but by 1970, the tides will have turned, with the Torino moniker getting the upper hand.
This Pastel Blue ’71 Torino GT looks to be right at home on the dragstrip and the folks at RPM Army caught up with it at the Wednesday Night Street Drags at National Trail Raceway, an NHRA quarter-mile drag strip located near Hebron, Ohio.

Building cars is a family thing for us. After World War II, my dad built race cars midgets, hot rods, that sort of stuff. He actually raced himself for a while in the Bay Area and was the first to hit 100 miles per hour on the Oakland Speedway. When I was a kid, I always hung around the shop with Dad, helping him out, and kind of got the knack of it.
