Groups of Conservative and Liberal Democrat town councillors and volunteers went out on Sunday to pick up litter and discarded waste. The new mayor of Trowbridge, Cllr Denise Bates, joined her colleague Cllr Andrew Bryant to hosted a Liberal Democrat litter pick with volunteers on Sunday and then held a joint surgery on Monday. Cllr Bryant said: “We are very grateful to the staff and pupils of Holbrook Primary School who have been extremely supportive in allowing us to continue our surgery on their premises.

Firefighters and police were called to Biss Meadow Bridge in Trowbridge following a fire. At 8.53pm on Tuesday, April 6, firefighters attended a small fire on the Biss Meadow Bridge near the Tesco Extra in Trowbridge.
