Councillors claim that Drynham is the cleanest ward in Trowbridge

THE Drynham ward in Trowbridge is one of the town's cleanest, according to councillors and volunteers who helped out on litter picks over the weekend.
Groups of Conservative and Liberal Democrat town councillors and volunteers went out on Sunday to pick up litter and discarded waste.
The new mayor of Trowbridge, Cllr Denise Bates, joined her colleague Cllr Andrew Bryant to hosted a Liberal Democrat litter pick with volunteers on Sunday and then held a joint surgery on Monday.
Cllr Bryant said: “We are very grateful to the staff and pupils of Holbrook Primary School who have been extremely supportive in allowing us to continue our surgery on their premises.
