April 6 ballot questions approved by voters coupled with the
Moberly Public School District s strong financial standing, the school board unanimously supported a 5.5% increase in wages for all of its district employees at its Tuesday business meeting and the board agreed to pay their health insurance premiums at 100%. I am very thankful for our voters. Because of their support, our school district is able to improve everyone s salaries, their healthcare premium and have additional funds available to do more for the school district and it did not cause anyone to pay more taxes,

Nearly 14% of the Moberly Public School District s student enrollment has chosen to engage with a virtual online curriculum for the second semester.
Once classes and extra-curricular activities resume in January, a mask mandate will be instituted for students, teachers, staff visitors and event spectators.
Letters were sent to students parents in early December announcing these changes, and guidelines are available on the district website.
The school board also continues to discuss matters pertaining to a possible ballot issue for the April election Superintendent, Superintendent Tim Roling said Tuesday.
Virtual Learning
Parents had until Dec. 7 to decide whether to enroll their child for virtual learning or the traditional in-seat classroom setting when classes resume Jan. 5 for the second semester.
