BRAUN: Save Ralph campaign — ban animal cosmetics testing

Incredibly, Canada still permits this ghastly practice. Some 3.9 million animals were used in experimental testing in 2018 in Canada. Despite being banned in 40 countries, animal testing of cosmetics is still legal in four out of five countries around the world — all in the name of human beauty. HSI and a pack of celebrities teamed up to create #SaveRalph, a short film about a brave rabbit whose job in cosmetics testing leaves him blind and chemically burned. Save Ralph shows a hard-working rabbit getting a Draize test — an abhorrent test from the 1940s still used today. Ralph, spokesbunny for HSI’s global campaign to ban cosmetic testing on animals.
