COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference on Friday announced its postseason all-conference teams and individual awards with three Buckeyes who were honored: Jack Myers (first team), Ryan Terefenko (second team and Sportsmanship Award honoree) and Tre Leclaire (second team).
For Myers, it’s the first all-conference award of his career. Leclaire is now a four-time All-Big Ten selection – the first in program history – having earned second-team honors in 2017, 2018 and 2019. Terefenko, a three-time honoree, was previously a first-team pick in 2018 and 2019.
Myers, a junior from Bethesda, Md., has been remarkably consistent this season. He’s scored at least two goals in all 10 games and has finished with four or more points seven times. Myers currently ranks fourth in the conference in goals per game (3.10) and sixth in points per game (4.10). His 31 goals and 41 points are both team highs while his 10 assists are second-most on the squad.
Briefly on the Buckeyes
Ohio State finished the regular season with a 4-6 record after a tough 10-9 setback to Penn State last Saturday.
The Buckeyes’ offense scored 12 or more goals six times this year. That unit is led by the tandem of Jack Myers and Tre Leclaire, who have combined for 54 goals on the season.
Myers is tops of the team with 31 goals and has added 10 assists for 41 points. He ranks fourth in the league in goals per game (3.10) and sixth in points per game (4.10).
Leclaire, meanwhile, is 10th at 2.30 goals per game. Last week he became just the fifth player in program history to reach 200 career points.

After consulting the experts and coaches, Inside Lacrosse’s PLL College Mock Draft consists of a few surprises.
Most notably is leading Tewaaraton favorite Jared Bernhardt’s drop to the third round due to his desire to play football, as reported by Ty Xanders. Though Bernhardt’s stellar season has shown his potential to play as any of these team’s No. 1 attackman, his past as a midfielder shows his versatility as a pro that offers even more value. His football intentions certainly shook things up at the top.
Moreover, top cover defenseman JT Giles-Harris and Jack Kielty have some draft stock worries with their off-field pursuits. Giles-Harris still may hold out to play football and Kielty’s desire to become a Navy SEAL is well-known, but neither fall as far as Bernhardt.
Right on the heels of No. 1 Maryland’s dramatic comeback win against Johns Hopkins, the Big Ten’s shocking Saturday continued with an unbelievable 10-9 finish in Penn State’s win against Ohio State.
Down 9-8 and with 1:08 remaining, sharp-shooter Mac O’Keefe got the ball off a pick, drew attention from the Ohio State defense and passed inside to Dylan Foulds on the doorstep, who faked and dipped into the net.
TIE GAME!

Forty-five seconds later, Foulds swept across, with O’Keefe as the picker, and fired it into the bottom corner of the net to take the victory with only 23 seconds left.
Penn State men’s lacrosse (4-6) spoiled No. 16 Ohio State’s (4-6) Senior Day Saturday afternoon in Columbus with a 10-9 victory.
The game was very evenly matched, as neither team could get much of a lead throughout the contest. Penn State’s win came down to back-to-back goals by Dylan Foulds in the final moments of the game, followed by a terrific save by Aleric Fyock.
How It Happened
Both teams traded possessions to open the game without any scoring. The following Nittany Lion possession had a few shots on goal, but Ohio State escaped once again.
Penn State was the first team to strike a goal about halfway through the first quarter. Dan Reaume managed to score the goal while taking a shot to his body.
