After consulting the experts and coaches, Inside Lacrosse’s PLL College Mock Draft consists of a few surprises.
Most notably is leading Tewaaraton favorite Jared Bernhardt’s drop to the third round due to his desire to play football, as reported by Ty Xanders. Though Bernhardt’s stellar season has shown his potential to play as any of these team’s No. 1 attackman, his past as a midfielder shows his versatility as a pro that offers even more value. His football intentions certainly shook things up at the top.
Moreover, top cover defenseman JT Giles-Harris and Jack Kielty have some draft stock worries with their off-field pursuits. Giles-Harris still may hold out to play football and Kielty’s desire to become a Navy SEAL is well-known, but neither fall as far as Bernhardt.
