The Toledo Area Polka Society (TAPS) is pleased to announce the 6th Annual Polish Summer Picnic, sponsored by Genoa Bank, June 18 and 19 at Oak Shade Grove Pavilion, 3624 Seaman Rd., Oregon. Hours are 5-11 p.m. Friday and noon-11 p.m. Saturday.
Setting attendance records each year, this authentic Polish picnic provides an entertaining venue for celebrating Polish heritage and culture.

On June 8th, the City of Chelsea swore in a new City Clerk, Lonika Utterback. Ms. Utterback is taking over duties from former City Clerk, Kathy Werner. Mrs. Werner served as part-time City Clerk and Library Director since May 2018, until resigning from the Library Director position in September .
