“The Boy Foretold by the Stars,” a story about two boys discovering the thrill of young romance, received 12 nominations at the 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival awards.

Maria dahil nakakuha ng 12 nominations ang The Boy Foretold by the Stars sa MMFF 2020. Malaking bahagi po kayo sa napakagandang balitang ito dahil sa magagandang sinulat ninyo. Maraming salamat po. Its nominations are: Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor, Best Screenplay, Gat Puno Memorial Award, Best Supporting Actor, Best Production Design, Best Theme Song, Best Sound, Gender Sensitivity, Best Cinematography, and Best Musical Score.

One of the most-awaited movies in the virtual 2020 Metro Manila Film Festival is “The Boy Foretold By The Stars” which made history as the first Filipino BL movie and the first BL rom-com to be part of annual filmfest.
Writer-director Dolly Dulu underscores that their film is for all lovers, regardless of age, gender or persuasion.
“Be a friend and watch naman kayo,” Dolly posted on Facebook. Catch “The Boy Foretold By The Stars,” streaming on Upstream PH beginning Dec. 25.
This rom-com movie is a collaboration of three production outfits: The Dolly Collection, Brainstormers Lab and Clever Minds, Inc. of which one of the executive producers is actress Jodi Sta. Maria. It stars Adrian Lindayag as Dominic, and Keann Johnson as Luke, who are students in an exclusive school.
