Dornoch Area Community Council has recruited a new member. Her enlistment means the community council now stands at full strength with nine members. Mr Murray said: Yvonne impressed me with her very fast reaction in Embo to Covid-19. While we called a meeting of likely charities to see what Dornoch could do, and were reasonably quick, she had already done the work in Embo.

A large part of the Park Primary School site had already been razed to the ground last February in a devastating fire. And the site’s remaining buildings appeared to be at risk this morning after another huge fire sparked a major response from the fire brigade.
