Chairman Patrick Murray welcomed Yvonne Macrae, Embo, to the group s online meeting on February 17.
Dornoch Area Community Council has recruited a new member.
Her enlistment means the community council now stands at full strength with nine members.
Mr Murray said: Yvonne impressed me with her very fast reaction in Embo to Covid-19. While we called a meeting of likely charities to see what Dornoch could do, and were reasonably quick, she had already done the work in Embo.

A LIFEBOAT which became an integral part of the identity of an Easter Ross town over the past quarter of a century was at the centre of a poignant send-off at the weekend.

FIREFIGHTERS battling a blaze at an Easter Ross primary school have been using all the tools at their disposal to contain the situation.
A large part of the Park Primary School site had already been razed to the ground last February in a devastating fire.
And the siteâs remaining buildings appeared to be at risk this morning after another huge fire sparked a major response from the fire brigade.
