ORANGEBURG, S.C. One person is dead after a car accident in Orangeburg.
The South Carolina Highway Patrol (SCHP) said the accident happened a little after 4 pm on US 301 near Bozard Road, about a mile north of the city of Orangeburg.
According to SCHP Lance Cpl. Tyler Tidwell a 2015 Dodge van was traveling south on US301 when a 2015 Ford car attempted to take a left from Bozard road and struck the van.

CALHOUN COUNTY, S.C. (The T&D) -A person died in a Thursday morning collision on Interstate 26 eastbound in Calhoun County, according to S.C. Highway Patrol Lance Cpl. Tyler Tidwell.
The collision occurred at 8 a.m. when a 2003 Toyota Sequoia ran off the road to the right, ran back onto the road, and hit a box truck that was parked in the median near the 123 mile marker.
The box truck hit another box truck also parked in the median.
The front seat passenger of the Sequoia died in the crash. Calhoun County Coroner Donnie Porth said he could not yet release the name because the next of kin had not been notified.

BERKELEY COUNTY, S.C. (WCSC) - The South Carolina Highway Patrol says one person died late Wednesday in a single-vehicle accident.
The crash happened at 11:31 p.m. on Highway 402 near Copperhead Road, approximately three miles outside of Cordesville, Lance Cpl. Tyler Tidwell said.
The driver of a 2018 Nissan Sentra that was traveling west on Highway 402 died when the vehicle went off the road to the right, struck two culverts and overturned, according to troopers.
The driver was wearing a seatbelt, Tidwell said.
It happened at 7:43 p.m. on US-178 near Schoolhouse Road about four miles west of Harleyville. The crash involved a 2007 Freightliner and a 2005 Chevy Tahoe.
