Posted: Wed 2nd Jun 2021 Primary school pupils hold virtual walk of Welsh coastline to raise funds for new outdoor learning area Pupils at a Wrexham primary school have raised more than £500 by taking part in a virtual walk of the Welsh coastline The Foundation Phase department at Wat’s Dyke School, in Garden Village, took part in the sponsored walk to help raise funds for its outdoor learning area. All children and staff in the department walked a mile a day in school as part of the fundraiser. Over a two week period parents and children have also supported the department’s walking during weekends and sending in their steps.
