Fantastic finish to a brilliant first-half powerplay try. Taking a firmer hold on the fullback jersey with each passing minute wearing it.
Italy 10 Ireland 48 - Six tries bagged by Andy Farrell s men in Rome for first win of 2021 Six Nations
Irish Mirror 27/02/2021 Michael Scully
A tonic in Rome for Ireland as Andy Farrell s side ran in six tries to win at the Stadio Olimpico.
After two opening defeats for the first time in the Six Nations, this was a must-win for Ireland and the outcome was never in doubt after Italy took an early lead through a Paolo Garbisi penalty.
As the first half progressed, Ireland visibly grew in confidence and the ambition and execution was largely there from the off against admittedly poor opposition.
