Jace I want to talk about Siegfried. Siegfried Farnon is an interesting character, to say the least. He’s fastidious, eccentric. He’s quick tempered. He’s described in Ben Vanstone script as, quote, “Having a mind that works so fast he struggles to keep up with himself.” What do you think makes Siegfried tick?
Samuel I mean, his own will, I think, is probably the main answer, he’s quick tempered, as you say, but he’s not bad tempered. And that’s an interesting distinction. He’s very quick to fly off the handle, but he doesn’t bear grudges, which I think is very attractive. He’s also incredibly absent-minded. We actually worked with a vet, Andy Barrett, who worked with the real Siegfried Farnon, Donald Sinclair, at the end of his life. And Andy managed to keep the job because when Donald would say to him things like, ‘I told you that yesterday,’ all the previous vets would say, ‘No, you didn’t.

After a long and sorrow-filled 2020 (to say nothing of the long and sorrow-filled years that preceded it), when people ask me for TV recommendations, they often attach a requirement along the lines of, “But nothing that will make me feel bad, okay?”
I get it. Comfort food TV has become a balm for a great many people who are stressed out and anxious and sad. At the end of the day, all you might want is a group of characters treating each other with kindness and decency, which just might offer you a tiny smidgen of hope in an era so devoid of it.

James Herriot will return once again to Farnon s veterinary practice in Darrowby. Per
Deadline, season two is set to begin filming in the Yorshire Dales in early 2021, but production will undoubtedly be impacted by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, and a premiere date has yet to be set. I know that filming was planned to go ahead in springtime of 2021, actress Rachel Shenton, who plays Helen on the series told
In last night’s scintillating
RuPaul’s Drag Race UK season two opener, the 12 queens were asked to design a look that paid homage to a UK gay icon.
The maxi challenge was a homage to the fact that 2020 marked the 50th anniversary of the Gay Liberation Front in the UK, and RuPaul asked the girls to serve a look that pays tribute to their favourite British gay icon: “Someone from the UK who has inspired you be they queer or an ally, living or resting in perfection.”
They were also asked to serve a second look inspired by their home town.
