BINGHAMTON, NY (WSKG) Pennsylvania Attorney General Josh Shapiro announced charges against Bradford County District Attorney Chad Salsman for allegations of sexual assault, intimidation, prostitution, and obstruction of justice, among others.
“Chad Salsman would regularly use his position and power as an attorney to coerce his victims into performing sexual acts on him,” Shapiro said in a statement Wednesday.
According to Shapiro, the Bradford County DA brought clients into his private office under the guise of discussing their case and used his knowledge of their vulnerabilities to negate their consent and sexually assault them.

SALISBURY, N.C. (WBTV) - Daniel Barrett says he has been waiting too long to receive his COVID-19 vaccination.
Barrett, a military veteran, finally had his moment.
This weekend, the Salisbury VA Medical Center hosted a mass COVID-19 vaccination event with a goal to vaccinate 1,000 veterans over two days Saturday and Sunday.
âBeing here today, itâs like Christmas,â Barrett said. âI mean, I have waited for this day for a very, very long time, and I canât wait to see a lot of people vaccinated. Itâs touched me deeply.â

PLYMOUTH, Pa. Friends and family gathered in Luzerne County to remember a woman murdered last week, allegedly by her own husband.
A vigil was held to honor Mary Barrett.
Barrett s friends say she loved her community in Plymouth and it s clear they loved her back.

We put together a vigil for her to celebrate her life hoping it will bring a little bit of healing to her family who will be in attendance tonight, and to our community who are all hurting over this, said Adam Morehart, Mary s friend.
A Pennsylvania man turned himself in to the police Monday and allegedly confessed to killing his wife, who he said cheated on him, according to a local report.
PLYMOUTH â After finally moving into the Plymouth mansion theyâve been restoring at the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic, D.J. Allred and Robert Bringhurst were guarded about meeting new friends, but felt comfortable with a nice couple from down the street: Daniel and Mary Barrett.
âWe were kind of in between each othersâ houses. Because of the pandemic, they were kind of isolated and so were we. We felt safe spending time with them,â Allred said.
Allred and Bringhurst, who moved here from Utah last year after buying the old mansion, were shocked to hear the allegations that Daniel Barrett killed his wife over the weekend in a jealous rage at 103 Gaylord Ave.
