Dozens of people showed up outside Faith Baptist Church for a vigil in Mary s memory. We put together a vigil for her to celebrate her life hoping it will bring a little bit of healing to her family who will be in attendance tonight, and to our community who are all hurting over this, said Adam Morehart, Mary s friend.
Flowers are placed on the doorstep at 103 Gaylord Avenue in Plymouth where Daniel and Mary Susan Barrett resided. Daniel Barrett is the Plymouth man who accused his wife of cheating on him bludgeoned her with a fireplace poker and stabbed her repeatedly with a knife before stashing the body in the basement for two days, according to police. Daniel Barrett, 40, is charged with an open count of criminal homicide alleging he murdered his wife Mary Susan Barrett in the family home at 103 Gaylord Ave. on Saturday. Police say the crime was discovered when an emotional Daniel Barrett showed up at police headquarters and confessed Monday evening.Â
