Earlier, police had recovered an envelope, containing a note, and addressed to the Israeli Embassy, and a half-burnt pink scarf from the site. The envelope that was found at the spot was found around 12 yards away from the blast site and police sources have said the letter was addressed to the Israeli Ambassador. Police is tracing its fingerprints and examining its contents.
Delhi Police is on high alert following the Israel Embassy low-intensity blast and sources have confirmed that ammonium nitrate was used for the blast. Sources have also said that this blast may be a trial of some bigger conspiracy.

Blast outside Israeli Embassy may be connected to 2012 attack on diplomats: Envoy Ron Malka
A day after minor IED blast near Israeli Embassy in Delhi, Ambassador Ron Malka on Saturday said that there might be a connection between Friday s blast and the 2012 attack targeting the country s diplomats in Delhi. An envelop addressed to the Israeli Embassy and containing a note was found at the site.
Speaking to ANI, Malka said that an investigation is underway and New Delhi has given its assurances and offered all support, protection or assistance. In 2012, there was a terror attack on Israeli diplomats in Delhi not far from the Embassy. It might be connected, there might be a pattern. We are investigating and this is one of the options, he said.
New Delhi | Jagran News Desk: The Special Cell of Delhi Police on Saturday obtained a CCTV footage which showed two people, who were dropped off by a taxi, walking towards the spot near the Israeli Embassy where a low-intensity IED blast took place on Friday, reported news agency ANI. The Special Cell visited the blast site this morning and collected samples for investigation.
While no injury was reported in the incident, some cars were damaged in the blast that occured just 150 metres away from the Embassy in Dr APJ Abdul Kalam road in the very high-security Lutyens bungalow zone.
Delhi Police Additional PRO Anil Mittal said initial impressions suggest that it could be a mischievous attempt to create some sensation but did not elaborate.
