I am all about saving money, but not when it comes at the expense of someone else because that s just not neighborly.
According to KATC TV3, a Jennings man was doing the not-so-neighborly thing of stealing electricity. Terry Landry, a 33-year-old resident of Jeff Davis Parish (Grand Marais Road), allegedly hooked an extension cord up and was siphoning power from a neighbor, without permission.
Now, we ve established the fact that it s just not neighborly to benefit from someone else s loss, but it s also illegal in this case. The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff s Department executed an arrested warrant and put Mr. Landry behind bars for theft.
