Jennings Man Arrested for Stealing Electricity from Neighbor
A Jennings man has been arrested for stealing electricity from his neighbor.
I am all about saving money, but not when it comes at the expense of someone else because that's just not neighborly.
According to KATC TV3, a Jennings man was doing the not-so-neighborly thing of stealing electricity. Terry Landry, a 33-year-old resident of Jeff Davis Parish (Grand Marais Road), allegedly hooked an extension cord up and was siphoning power from a neighbor, without permission.
Now, we've established the fact that it's just not neighborly to benefit from someone else's loss, but it's also illegal in this case. The Jeff Davis Parish Sheriff's Department executed an arrested warrant and put Mr. Landry behind bars for theft.
