My recollection is that five years ago today a Black Lives Matter terrorist massacred Dallas cops, but I guess he was just a “veteran.” I mean, NPR wouldn’t spin inconvenient history to make it sound too boring to remember, would they?
On that grim day, social justice activists led a nonviolent march through the streets of downtown Dallas, protesting recent police killings of Black men Alton Sterling of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Philando Castile from the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area.

Nine months ago, Brad Alberts was named CEO of the Dallas Stars the culmination of a 20-plus-year quest to be the guy in charge of a major professional sports team.
“Did I always have my eye on this prize? Short answer is yes,” Alberts said in one of a series of interviews over the past two weeks. “But you never know if it’s going to become a reality. I’m one of 30 people in the world who has one of these very exclusive NHL roles, and a lot of things have to come into play for you to get one.”

Terri Flowers both battled the virus last year, now, the church leader is encouraging his congregants to get vaccine protection against COVID-19.
“If God can use doctors for cardiology, if God can use doctors for oncology and cancer, then surely God can use doctors for COVID-19,” Flowers told
CNN. “It doesn’t mean you don’t have faith. You must have your faith but you must also use the doctors so get the vaccination.”
