Pinkston students win writing awards

Two Pinkston Middle School students recently received high honors from the Arkansas Literacy Association’s state Student Writing Showcase.
Dylan Prins, a student in Stephanie Hughes’ seventh grade English class, received a second place award for his submission. Deanna Human, a student in Toni Hamby’s seventh grade English class, received a third place award for her submission.
Prins, Human and their families will attend a virtual recognition ceremony hosted by ALA via Zoom on May 18.
