Pinkston students win writing awards COURTESY OF MOUNTAIN HOME PUBLIC SCHOOLS Two Pinkston Middle School students recently received high honors from the Arkansas Literacy Association’s state Student Writing Showcase. Dylan Prins, a student in Stephanie Hughes’ seventh grade English class, received a second place award for his submission. Deanna Human, a student in Toni Hamby’s seventh grade English class, received a third place award for her submission. Prins, Human and their families will attend a virtual recognition ceremony hosted by ALA via Zoom on May 18.
