As an earthquake in Tajikistan late Friday caused severe tremors across northern India, Rahul Gandhi was in the middle of a virtual session where he was interacting with the students of the University of Chicago.

A high internsity earthquake that struck shook Delhi-NCR and other parts of India late Friday night did not disturb Rahul Gandhi while he was in the middle of a virtual interaction.
The Congress MP was in the middle of a live session with the students of the University of Chicago when the earthquake, with its epicentre in Tajikistan, shook Delhi. The Congress leader was tranquilled and carried on with the live programme.
In the middle of the interaction with historian Dipesh Chakraborty and the students, Rahul Gandhi felt the tremors of the earthquake.

New Delhi: An earthquake measuring 6.3 on the Ritcher scale hit Tajikistan on Friday night. Strong tremors were felt across the northern parts of India. While many people fled their homes in panic, others went about doing their usual work. Among them was Congress leader Rahul Gandhi.
Gandhi was virtually interacting with the students of the Institute of Politics, University of Chicago when the earthquake hit on Friday night. The Congress leader remained unfazed by the tremors and continued with the live session calmly. A video capturing Gandhi s reaction to the earthquake has gone viral on social media.
