Jammu: Delegations of District Development Council (DDC) members of Rajouri, Islamic Welfare organization and Director Sanik Welfare Department today called on Lieutenant Governor, Manoj Sinha, at Raj Bhavan here.
The delegation of DDC members of Rajouri led by the DDC Chairman, Ch Naseem Liaqat met the Lt Governor and submitted a memorandum of their concerning issues and demands.
The members of the delegation also thanked the Lt Governor led administration for conducting free and fair elections of the third tier of Panchayati Raj System, and the successful conduct of elections of Chairpersons and Vice-Chairpersons of District Development Councils.

New Delhi: Since the time limit for Pensioners to submit their Jeevan Pramaan Patra has been extended upto 28th February 2021, there is not much time left actually.
However, for the comfort of 35 lakh EPFO pensioners, you can now submit your Life Certificate digitally. This means, you will not have to visit the office of disbursing agency for physical submission of life certificate and instead use the Aadhaar enabled biometric authentication mechanism to generate DLC.
What is Digital Life Certificate for Pensioner?
Digital Life Certificate (Jeevan Pramaan) is a biometric enabled digital service for pensioners. Pensioners of central or state government, Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation or any other government organization whose pension disbursing agency is live for DLC can take benefit of this facility.

In a relief to lakhs of EPFO pensioners, the last date for submitting their Jeevan Pramaan Patra has been extended to February 28, 2021. Not just that, they can now submit their Life Certificate digitally. Instead of visiting the office of disbursing agency for physical submission of life certificate, they can now use the Aadhaar enabled biometric authentication mechanism to generate DLC.
Earlier, the deadline for submission of Life Certificate was extended to December 31, in view of the COVID-19 pandemic. The deadline for the submission has always been November 30, but the Centre decided to give the pensioners an extra window of 31 days to present their Jeevan Pramaan Patra.
