The Tasmanian Government’s focus continues to be on protecting the health and safety of Tasmanians and with our vaccination program in full swing, Tasmania is in a good place.
Today marks the conclusion of the second week of our state-based vaccination program with 2327 Tasmanians vaccinated over the first two weeks, including frontline health workers, paramedics, quarantine and border staff including police officers.
The next delivery of the Pfizer vaccine – approximately 1170 doses – will arrive on Sunday and we will continue the vaccination program of priority groups at the RHH from Tuesday.
Pleasingly, the vaccination program continues to run on schedule and will start at the Launceston General Hospital and the North West Regional Hospital in Burnie on 15 March, as planned.

By: Annabel Langbein At this time of year you don t want to be spending too much time in the kitchen. Meals where you make a tasty dressing, cook a piece of protein and toss it all together with loads of fresh vegetables make late-summer dining easy. For one dish dinners like this, it s all about the dressing. A good dressing transforms simple everyday ingredients, bringing the flavours together and providing balance.
A thoughtfully stocked pantry is key to ensuring these kinds of toss-and-serve meals never get monotonous. For Asian-inspired dressings, look to sauces such as Thai sweet chilli sauce, oyster sauce, black bean sauce and soy sauce or tamari, and build your flavour profile with black and white sesame seeds, crispy roasted shallots, chillies, ginger and garlic.

In December 2020, we announced a $2 million Live Performance Support Program to give the sector confidence to plan live performances in 2021.
Through this program, our Government will share some of the risk of potential lost ticket sales if performances are required to be cancelled or significantly modified due to changes to Public Health Directives relating to COVID-19, or to our Framework for COVID-19 Safe Events and Activities in Tasmania.
Jane Howlett,Minister for Racing I shared the disappointment of racing industry participants at the late cancellations of race meetings at the Mowbray.
Sarah Courtney,Minister for Health I reiterate my sincere thank you to every one of our hard-working paramedics for their incredible work caring for and.
