SOUTHERN COLORADO â Summer camp, a time for kids to get out of the house, meet new friends, and explore the great outdoors! It s not online, it s not in front of a screen all day, and it s interacting with people, said Dan Faulkner, Executive Director at Camp Elim.
Last summer, many camps were put on pause because of the pandemic.
But this year? That won t be the case. The little kids just want the interaction. They have been stuck for months, said Mary Baker, parent.
THREE OAKS â The Three Oaks Village Council bid a reluctant farewell to Water & Sewer Superintendent Quentin Clark during its Dec. 9 regular meeting.
Clark is taking a job with the City of Dowagiac, and his letter of resignation was accepted effective Dec. 31 with congratulations and thank-youâs voiced by several council members.
âItâs going to be a bummer for all of us to see him go,â said council member Becky Thomas.
âIt wasnât an easy decision, it still isnât an easy decision,â Clark said. âThree Oaks reminds me a lot of where Iâm from â Iâm from Cass.
