The People’s Committee of Hanoi on Friday issued a decision to offer 15 days of free travel on the first metro line, which is expected to be put into service in the near future.
The fare exemption will apply to all passengers on the Cat Linh - Ha Dong urban railway following its commercial inauguration.
After 15 days, the municipal authorities will provide subsidy for public passenger fares on the route.

Residents in Da Nang have started using coupons with QR codes when going to markets in a bid from city authorities to prevent large gatherings.

Each family will be given five coupons to use over the course of 15 days.
People can simply take a photo of the coupon, save it on their phone and present it to the guards when entering the market.
