Husband confesses hacking AL Leader Kanak to death 149 DHAKA, Apr 25, 2021 (BSS) – Omar Faruk, 51, has given a confessional statement in a case alleging he hacked to death her wife Umama Begum Kanak, 40, a member of the Awami League’s sub-committee on relief and social welfare. He was produced before the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court today.
