Last year the EDC helped the village with brownfield redevelopment funding for the Cultural Center, the Nestle Building, and TI Automotive. “We helped them to begin the process to restore those properties to full commercial use,” said EDC Director Steve Erickson. Our agency is looking forward to receiving a second EDP grant to continue commercial and brownfield redevelopment in Cass City and throughout the county. The EDC has also implemented a new program that can provide grants to businesses facing an unforeseen emergency.”
