LOCK HAVEN A 58-year-old Jersey Shore man was found dead in a wooded area on Tuesday, the Woodward Township Police Department reports.
Police say that Glenn Royer, 58, of 409 Washington Ave., Jersey Shore, was found deceased in a wooded area in the vicinity of 3815 Coudersport Pike Road in Lock Haven, where he was in the process of building a new home. Police say they believe that Royer suffered a fatal heart attack.
Clinton County coroner Zach Hanna pronounced Royer dead at the scene.
Woodward Township Police were assisted at the scene by the Dunnstown Fire Department and EMS from Good Will Hose.
THURSDAY At 10:38 a.m., the Lock Haven Fire Department and Lock Haven EMS responded to a motor vehicle accident at 1162 Renovo Road in Bald Eagle Township. The call was cleared at 11:35 a.m. At 10:50 a.m., the Chapman Township (North Blend) Fire Department, South Renovo (Citizen’s Hose) Fire Department, Renovo (Emerald) Fire Department and Flemington (Good Will Hose) Ambulance responded to a motor vehicle accident at 8000 Renovo Road in Grugan Township. The call was cleared at 12:43 p.m. At 12:54 p.m., the Lock Haven Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire at 338 W. Church St., Lock Haven. The call was cleared at 1:19 p.m.
MONDAY At 9:56 a.m., the Lock Haven Fire Department and Lock Haven Police Department responded to a fire alarm at 165 Susquehanna Ave., in Lock Haven. The call was cleared at 10:06 a.m. At 3:26 p.m., the Avis Fire Department, State Police at Lamar and Pine Creek Police Department responded to a motor vehicle accident with no injuries. The call was cleared at 3:42 p.m. At 9:07 p.m., the Dunnstown Fire Department responded to a tree down at the intersection of Lin Ridge Drive and Brewery Hollow Road in Woodward Township. The call was cleared at 9:35 a.m.
