Swordsman, 18, attacked dad-of-two over 'fat' comments

By Advertiser Reporter Swindon Crown Court A TEENAGER struck a dad with an ornamental sword over rude comments he’d allegedly made about his mum.  Moments later, Jordan Henze, now 18, warned a group of boys playing football in a park that he’d stab them if they stopped him from stealing one of their bikes – after flashing the hilt of his sword.  When police caught up with the blade-carrying youngster he denied that the bike, which was found at his mum’s house, had been stolen by him. He claimed to have bought it on Facebook. Sentencing Henze to a three year youth referral order with an intensive supervision requirement at Swindon Crown Court this week, Recorder James Bromige said branded the teenager’s decision to run at his victim while carrying the sword “an incredibly stupid and foolish thing to do”.

The Brewster Boys second pirate treasure is found in Provincetown

ORLEANS The second pirate treasure hunt on Cape Cod has come to an end after the second of two clues was found in Provincetown yesterday,  nearly two weeks after the riddle was posted online.  The pending nonprofit called The Brewster Boys wrote the clues leading to the keys that followed an entwined pirate’s tale of star-crossed lovers, Concord and Abigail.  The ornate keys that fit into two hand-wrought, heart-shaped padlocks on the treasure chest were hidden in two spots on Cape Cod.  The first was found last Sunday morning at the Sandwich Boardwalk, under the “lucky plank, by Hadley Kerr and her family members. The second was found Friday night by Vana and Guy Trudeau at the Provincetown Causeway.

Cape Cod treasure found by 'Brewster Boys' leads to charity donation

“I don’t think you could find an adult my age who didn’t grow up dreaming of finding buried treasure,” said Fowler, 27, who is now taking over the family business, ARCOR Epoxy Technologies in Harwich, “I’d swim out there (to an island) if I thought there was treasure.”  As it worked out, the guys who found the treasure did almost that. After talking with Bicker and another lifelong Brewster friend, Eli Powers, Doyle headed to Wing Island. Unsuccessful on the first outing, he noticed his feet were getting wet as he crossed back through the marsh behind the Cape Cod Museum of Natural History.
