ORLEANS The second pirate treasure hunt on Cape Cod has come to an end after the second of two clues was found in Provincetown yesterday, nearly two weeks after the riddle was posted online.
The pending nonprofit called The Brewster Boys wrote the clues leading to the keys that followed an entwined pirate’s tale of star-crossed lovers, Concord and Abigail.
The ornate keys that fit into two hand-wrought, heart-shaped padlocks on the treasure chest were hidden in two spots on Cape Cod.
The first was found last Sunday morning at the Sandwich Boardwalk, under the “lucky plank, by Hadley Kerr and her family members. The second was found Friday night by Vana and Guy Trudeau at the Provincetown Causeway.
